Brand Development
When OtherParts got involved, StoryTerrace was an early stage startup without a much of a brand or design approach/system. This was an exciting opportunity: we loved StoryTerrace’ mission and team and their meaningful service as well as their growth potential. Starting from strategic work on persona and audience development, we collaborated with the founder and organized a brand sprint to lay the foundations for the current brand identity: timeless and personal with a premium feel. We use the script font Kaufmann referencing hand writing and redesigned the quote marks into a contemporary and recognizable icon, which can be used on books and across digital and print assets.
Storytelling Content Development
How to better showcase the intricate life stories StoryTerrace writers were capturing than through short video portraits—Over the years OtherParts produced almost two dozen intimate video portraits that captured the highly personal approach of their writers with the clients and their extraordinary life stories. These stories were shot and produced at the clients homes across the US, UK and the Netherlands. Next to 2-3 minute testimonials that were used for YouTube and web use, OtherParts turned this material into social ad campaigns on Instagram, FB and YouTube.
Growth, Performance Marketing and Advertising Campaigns
As StoryTerrace is a ‘lead generation’ business, we tested and optimized different CTA’s & Landing Page combinations with a lead qualification multistep form flow which resulted in a 273% increase in qualified leads. Optimizing the key performance channels Google and Facebook/Instagram Ads, by constantly producing and testing new creative campaigns and targeting, we scaled these channels over the course of 4 years by over 18 times.
In addition to the online performance marketing, we ran several print magazine and OOH campaigns as well as Youtube and programmatic video and podcast campaigns and the very successful integrated engagement campaign Unsung Heroes.
